REFLECTIONS

Reflections explored the contrast between Impressionist colour and Classical clarity through the sound of the clarinet. The program brought together works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Claude Debussy, Felix Mendelssohn and others, performed by a 22-piece chamber orchestra.

Led by concertmaster Lisa Smith, the concert featured Sophie Allison as soloist, bringing together contrasting musical styles and approaches to the clarinet in an intimate chamber setting.
